I will continue talking about what I mentioned in my previous post, explaining in a little more detail the courses included in the onboarding process and what you can expect from them.

The first course is focused on the basics of WordPress. It explains the main concepts that every beginner should know before starting to build websites. This part is simple but important because it gives you a foundation for the rest of the learning process.

The second course focuses on the decision-making process within WordPress. It talks about how different choices are made inside the platform and why some decisions are important for the community and the development of WordPress itself.

The third course is one of the most important ones because it teaches the etiquette and proper communication when interacting with the WordPress community. Since WordPress has a very large community, learning how to communicate respectfully and professionally is something they really emphasize during the onboarding.

The fourth course is based on “Writing in the WordPress Voice.” In this section, you learn the style and tone that WordPress uses in its communication, documentation, and community interactions.

The fifth course explains how to resolve conflicts. It gives examples of situations that can happen inside a team or community and teaches how to handle them in a respectful and productive way.

The sixth course covers the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Even though both are related to WordPress, they work differently, so this course helps you understand the advantages and limitations of each platform.

After completing these initial courses, there is a series of learning paths where you can choose your difficulty level, from beginner to intermediate and advanced. These courses go much deeper into how to use all the tools available in WordPress and allow you to specialize depending on your interests.

There are different paths for users, developers, and designers, so each person can focus on the area they enjoy the most or want to improve in.
